A 40 year old man, Ian Taylor disputed the illegal parking charge but he did something else. It wasn’t him who was charged the illegal parking though. It was his stepson. Before I tell you what he did, let me tell you why an illegal parking was cited. His stepson’s Ford Fiesta was said to have been illegally parked. The authorities have clamped and impounded the car. According to the ruling made, there were two inches of the rear wheel of the car that was sticking out of the driveway. Thus, the car was impounded and they were charged illegal parking.

Well, Taylor wanted to make a point. It was just a mere two inches. So what he did in response to the charge, he took their power disc and cut the car in two! After he cut the car, he told the authorities to take just the rear half since it was the only part that was supposedly parked illegal. Well, why didn’t anyone think of that before? At least you get to keep the half of the car, right?

When asked by the media, Taylor said that he had to prove his point. According to him, “they are so petty and won’t even listen to what you have to say”. Taylor tried to reason out with the authorities who clamped and impounded the car but apparently, they didn’t listen. According to Taylor, he was supposed to show them a permit that allowed them to park the car where it was. Prior to parking the car, it was already beyond repair so they just had it lying there in his driveway. Nevertheless, authorities still stood by what their staff did in clamping and impounding the car because they have a photo to prove that half the car was illegally parked.

There are many other ways to lose weight but let’s see one more. This fast food chain from South Korea features the Col-Pop. The Col-Pop is a meal made up of cola and popcorn chicken. Umm, that’s low-calorie, right? Well, kidding aside, this meal is something that will keep your eating to a minimum. They’ve invented a single container that will hold both the nuggets and your drink. Isn’t that something innovative? What’s more is that you get to drink and eat less than a cup. Surely it will cut your eating but I don’t know about the craving. I just have one question though. Will you need to scarf down the chicken right away because the chicken might get cold from the soda? Well who doesn’t want that!

It was last May 1 that the longest cross-sea bridge in the whole world was opened to public. The Hangzhou Bay Bridge spans a vast 36 kilometers or 22.4 miles sits in the province of Zhejiang in Beijing, China. This new bridge is known to be a very important bridge connecting the Port City of Ningbo and the financial hub of Shanghai. The bay bridge has made travel time between the two major cities from four hours to just two and half. Imagine what big help the Hangzhou Bay Bridge is doing for the two cities.

Since the beginning of May, there have been hundreds who have passed the longest cross-sea bridge travelling to and from Shanghai and Ningbo. The problem is, to this date, there have been more than 300 drivers fined by the police. They were fined because they have been driving slowly. Don’t you think it’s ironic? The bridge was built to cut travel time; it means the purpose of this bridge is to get to your destination faster. However, the drivers passing through this bridge want to go slower than normal. It defies the purpose. So instead of the usual scenario of police stopping and fining drivers for speeding, there are more being fined for driving slowly. Talk about irony.

You may wonder why these drivers are driving slower than usual. The answer is explained in one of the unnamed drivers who were fined “I just wanted to drive a bit slowly and enjoy the sea breeze. Is that wrong?” Well the driver has a point, what’s wrong about driving slowly? The problem arises when all cars are going slow and some even taking pictures while some go sightseeing. The funny thing is, some drivers who got busted even posed in front of police cameras for souvenirs.

The Indian guy who married a dog is Selvakumar, a very superstitious farmer. This thirty-three year old man had apparently done some kind of animal cruelty about fifteen years ago. According to him, he abused two dogs that has put a curse on him ever since. Selvakumar had strung the two dogs years back and stoned them to death. This cruelty had lead him to many unfortunate events making him believe that the two dogs have placed a curse on him. After the death of the dogs he abused, he has faced several health problems. He experienced paralysis in his legs and hands. His speech and hearing were impaired as well. He has visited several doctors who weren’t able to help him until he found an astrologer who explained everything to him. According to the astrologer, the two dogs he abused had put a curse of ill health on him. For that, he could put the curse to an end by marrying a dog.

Selvakumar’s family found a stray dog and named her Selvi. The once stray dog was bathed and dressed in traditional Indian wedding clothing. Selvi wore a sari and a flower garland. The dog and Selvakumar were taken to the temple complete with a Hindu priest to perform the wedding ceremony. According to the Hindustan Times, after the wedding, the newly-weds and the groom’s family had a feast. Selvi, to dog bride even tried escaping but they caught her and brought her back to the feast. As the day ended, the spirits of the two dogs that Selvakumar had abused were said to have left and the curse was lifted. Selvakumar now has plans of marrying a human bride in the future.

According to statistics, there are about 76 percent of bank robbers who don’t even disguise themselves. On the other hand, there are about 86 percent who have never even studied anything about the bank they are robbing. And lastly, there is a whopping 95 percent who don’t have long-range plans after doing the offense. They don’t even have escape routes or plans on how to conceal their crimes. For that, I suggest these few tips if ever robbing banks have even crossed your mind.

1. First Rule is to pick the right bank. A bank robber in Anaheim, California didn’t even choose the right bank to rob. Apparently, this man tried to rob a bank that was no longer in business. Thus, there was no more money in the building that he tried to rob. You don’t also want to be too familiar with the bank as they may identify you or you may know someone from the bank. While making a getaway, one robber ran into his mother and the mother turned him in. That’s why I’m telling you, choose wisely.

2. Second Rule is to not sign or write down any demands. One robber from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania wrote his demands on a subpoena which was issued to him. Another robber used an envelope that had his name and address on it, while another used a withdrawal slip that had the robber’s name and account number. See, you don’t want to give away your identity, right?

3. Third Rule is to not be picky. There was this robber who pointed a gun at a teller and said “Give me all your twenties.” Apparently, the teller only had two twenties, so the robber took the two twenties and left. What’s up with that?

4. Fourth Rule is to bring your own transportation. One robber from Massachusetts borrowed the teller’s car after robbing the bank. So naturally, the police got the details of the car from the teller and they found it right away.

5. Lastly, the fifth rule, consider another line of work. Robbing is against the law and you may not be up to the task. There was once this robber who went up to the teller and asked for money, when the teller answered she had no money, the robber knocked out. The police arrived moments later just to find out that the robber is still unconscious.

No, this is not a typo-error and you are not having any eyesight problems. This is for real. An Australian guy was caught drinking and driving and then caught drinking and driving again. That’s what happens when you put these two together. It seems like things are pretty much repeating or happening all over again when you mix drinking and driving. 

A 34 year old Aussie was charged with drinking and driving on the Pacific Highway a week ago. The guy had been drinking and was then driving home. Cops have probably noticed some suspicious driving or they just wanted to do random breath test that night. According to the police, it was around 11.40 in the evening when the guy was stopped at Urunga, South of Coffs Harbour. The drunken man’s breath test read a value of 0.175 which was said to be more than three times the legal limit. So the cops has given him a ticket and suspended his license. They issued him with a court attendance notice for his high-range PCA. After that he was off and driving home again. Normally, this would be the end of a news report. However, the man seems to be lucky that night.

After some 800 meters of driving, the drunken man who now has a suspended license has been stopped by another police. Apparently, they are doing random breath tests too. Wow, this Australian guy is in for another treat. He was given another drink-driving offense. Imagine getting caught twice in just a matter of minutes, or even seconds. I wonder whether he thought he was just too drunk to think it could even be happening. Now what I’m curious about is why those two groups of cops are standing by too close. Did the cops do it on purpose? Is there a conspiracy about two groups conducting random breath tests so closely to each other? That’s why I’m telling you, if you don’t want to get caught up in such situations, just don’t mix drinking and driving together.

Thumbelina cannot even become a champion show jumper because her height won’t allow her to jump even a small bucket. In fact, she might even fit in one. Kidding aside her small figure may not allow her to be a champion jumper but has made way to receiving a Guinness Book of Records for being the smallest horse in the planet.

Thumbelina was born and raised to a couple of horse enthusiasts who specialize in breeding miniature horses. According to the couple, they usually breed miniature horses that weigh around 250 pounds and stand up to 34 inches at full growth. Imagine Thumbelina’s weight is just a mere one fourth of a normal miniature horse. Her height on the other hand, is almost half than the regular. When she was born, she showed signs of dwarfism. She was only 8 pounds and seemed really tiny. The couple even thought she wasn’t going to make it. But look at her now, she grew up to 60 pounds. Thumbelina is now seven years old. She has received her Guinness Record back in 2006, when she was still five years of age. Normal horses live up to 35 years but because of her size, the couple expects Thumbelina to live up to 17 years.

According to Dr. Cheryl Olsen and Dr. Lawrence Kutner from Harvard Medical School, playing video games can actually help kids avoid getting into trouble than those who don’t play at all. At the same time, the two doctors claim that it’s not true that those playing video games are more likely to become violent. That notion should be buried as there is no evidence of violent video games turning people into criminals.

According to Dr. Kutner and Dr. Olsen, the violent crimes among teenagers especially in the USA, has gone down over the past 20 years. Teenage crimes has gone down as playing of video games has gone up. Thus, there is no relevance in linking violent crimes to violent video games. This is not just a simple statement that two doctors have claimed. They have researched and conducted tests to prove this. They came up with two years of study on more than a thousand children and five hundred parents to come up with such a conclusion. The US Department of Justice has helped greatly in funding this research to learn whether there is a connection between a child’s conduct to the violent video games they play.

The problem they found during the study is that those who play adult-rated games are those have been in a fight in the past 12 months. The thing however is that they are not sure whether the adult-rated games are the reason for an aggressive behavior or if it was just the other way around, meaning the aggressive children are the ones who are attracted to the adult-rated games. The doctors are just reaching out to parents to set risk markers when allowing their kids to play video games.

The weird thing about the house when it was put on the market is that there is a condition. There could only be a certain buyer, if they ever find such quality in a person who is at the same time looking for a three-bedroom bungalow house. Apparently, the house is only to be sold to anyone who is named Raymond Cake.

Things get weirder when one day, this man came to the house for the viewing. As Jenny and the man introduced themselves to each other, it was only that time that Jenny learned the man was named Raymond Cake. Imagine the chance of being able to meet someone looking for a home by the name of Raymond Cake, the same name that her father was called. Jenny said in an interview “We only found out about the names when they came round for the viewing, but everything seemed to run smoothly after that. It is quite a coincidence.” The buyer and the owners are not related at all. According to statistics, the odds of two Raymond Cakes owning the same house are about a million to one.

The buyer, Mr. Raymond Cake is 41 years of age and has purchased the house for £190,000. He is complete name is Raymond Tony Cake while the previous owner was called Raymond Percy cake. According to the younger Mr. Cake, the moment he entered the house, it just felt right for him and his family. He felt weird because he knew right away that it was meant for them.

Seems weird to easily find a buyer that goes by the same name as the previous owner, right? What do you think? Was it mere coincidence or something eerie?
