HERBLOCK’S LAW -

If it’s good, they discontinue it.

GOLD’S LAW -

If the shoe fits, it’s ugly.

HARDLEY’S LAW OF SHOPPING -

If you like it, they don’t have it in your size.

If you like it and it’s in your size, it doesn’t fit anyway.

If you like it and it fits, you can’t afford it.

If you like it, it fits and you can afford it, it falls apart the first time you wear it.

FINMAN’S BARGAIN BASEMENT PRINCIPLE -

The one you want is never the one on sale.

HERSHISER’S LAW -

Anything labeled “NEW” and/or “IMPROVED” isn’t.

The label “NEW” and/or “IMPROVED” means the price went up.

The label “ALL NEW” “COMPLETELY NEW” or “GREAT NEW” means the price went way up.

LAW OF THE MARKETPLACE -

If only one price can be obtained for any quotation, the price will be unreasonable.

SINTETO’S FIRST LAW OF CONSUMERISM -

A 60 day warranty guarantees that the product will self destruct on the 61st day.

LEWI’S LAW -

People will buy anything that’s one to a customer.
