After what was probably a wild Saturday night, Joshua L. Moore was arrested on Sunday morning. The crime that young Josh committed was to try to fill up his car with gasoline. Why would that be a crime you might ask? Because Josh did not have a car with him at the Louisville Kentucky gas station. What Josh did have with him were at least two ‘large’ baggies of marijuana, a substantial amount of the narcotic known as ‘ecstasy’ a cell phone, and a great deal of cash. Reports also indicate that he had some other types of drugs and paraphernalia as well.

According to the eyewitness accounts of the gas station employees who notified police about Josh’s odd behavior, he repeatedly attempted to pump gas into what apparently was his ‘invisible’ car. On the other hand, maybe it was just a hallucination from too many drugs and too much alcohol. Police arrested him on 3 separate drug offenses.

The news reports say he was charged with three counts of drug trafficking, but unless they caught him actually trying to sell the stuff, I don’t understand how they come up with that. Can they really do that? If anyone knows more about that particular law, comment this post and educate me. I would assume that the charges should have been possession, possession with intent to distribute, and maybe even a count of public intoxication.

I have these questions about this bit of news…I could not find the answers anywhere online.

1. Did he actually let the gas run out of the nozzle onto the ground, and if so how many $$ worth?
2. Did he actually think he was putting gas in the actual car, or was he really aware that there was no car?
3. Was he actually driving a car at any point Saturday night or Sunday morning, or did he just forget where he parked the alleged vehicle?
4. After they arrested him, did the police consider taking him to a hospital for a thorough psychological exam?
5. How long did those station employees laugh before they called police?
6. If the police could smell the pot, was it because Josh was smoking some at the gas pump?
